HMN is a wonderful nationwide non-profit organization connecting mothers with interests in "alternative" parenting, breastfeeding, natural birthing, natural health, alternative healthcare therapies, cloth diapering, homeschooling, and the like. I am the founder and Chapter Leader of the first HMN chapter in Washington State - South King County, WA - which meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month and features discussion groups, playgroup, and more.

Our chapter is fabulous group of moms like me who choose natural health, attachment parenting, and other "off the mainstream" choices for their family...and some who only do a few of those things but wish to learn more and share their own experiences and information with other parents. We additionally welcome dads, grandparents, or anyone who cares for kiddos to join our group, as well as health care professionals from our community.
